Ben Roethlisberger Shows What Charity Can Do

Ben Roethlisberger had an amazing career by any standard, winning the Super Bowl twice and having six appearances in the Pro Bowl. While he is originally from Ohio, he has become a fixture in Pittsburgh where he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has worked to be better in his faith, which has him being a philanthropist in his retirement. He has used his money to create a family foundation to help those who are in need, with a focus on Pittsburgh. Roethlisberger is working to honor his father in all of this, as he feels this is how his father would do.

One of the causes that Ben Roethlisberger and his family have been working to provide help with is for families dealing with babies being readmitted because of jaundice. This is an issue where parents can feel stress and sadness that can cause them to feel isolated. The Foundation works with NeoLight on this issue. The other issue that Roethlisberger has worked on is the homeless situation in Pittsburgh, which can lead to death because of exposure in the winter. This is being done by selling shirts for the Light of Life Rescue Mission with Christian star Micah Tyler.

There are many ways that people need help, which is what Ben Roethlisberger is looking to do as more than an act of faith. People can consider this as just a way to get a tax break, but the people being helped can have some stress removed.

The Roethlisberger Family Foundation helps families and those at their lowest because he believes that is what his faith directs him to do. He does it gladly and with an open heart. Pittsburgh gets to see how much he appreciates his adopted city by the way he helps and how he deals with those people of the city who watched him bring glory there.
