He played a crucial role in producing and directing Sheindlin, accompanying her into the modern era with Amazon. Although Randy Douthit’s work with Sheindlin has brought him to new heights, he has remained connected to his journalistic roots.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought challenges leading to implementation of new health protocols to limit the spread of the virus. However, that did not hinder Mr. Douthit and Judge Judy to continue producing episodes of their show. After the 25th and final season of Judge Judy aired, they landed at IMDb TV and started making episodes of Judy Justice. They had to produce 120 episodes in three months, which was immense work, but they could air the first round in 2021 and the rest in early 2022.
