Mark Hauser, an Icon in Business

With over 35 years of experience in investing and operating companies, Mark Hauser is an experienced investor and fund manager. He co-founded Hauser Private Equity (HPE), where he serves as a co-managing partner. He focuses on investing in private equity funds and directly investing in businesses backed by private equity. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in finance from Miami University in Ohio, during which he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.

In addition to his role at Hauser Private Equity, Mark Hauser is the founder of HAUSER Insurance Group. The company specializes in developing insurance and benefits products for national corporations with a private equity perspective. HAUSER Insurance Group operates in several locales, including Cincinnati, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles, and Kansas City, Missouri. The company invests in innovative companies in different sectors such as consumer goods, healthcare, industrials, financials, and business services.

Mark Hauser was once the vice president at Cincinnati-based Reynolds Dewitt Securities, which led to public offerings of Mid-American Waste Systems, Future Healthcare, and Health Images. His services included serving on the Board of Directors for various industries, including consumer goods, food, and beverage, government-contracted security and defense businesses, digital advertising, and textile manufacturing.

Mark Hauser, his wife Margie, and their four children live in Indian Hill. He guides business people and has been active in high school, college, and post-college young people coaching them for 20 years. He worked as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Marymount High School for four years and was on the board for six years. Additionally, his impact is felt at St. Xavier High School, where he started the popularly known junior Big Brother program.
