A DIFFERENT Ben Roethlisberger
Ben Roethlisberger is a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has teamed up with Christian Music Artist Micah Tyler in Pittsburgh, PA. They are helping a local group called Light of Life Rescue Mission. Micah Tyler said he has been a big fan of Ben Roethlisberger for some time and is excited to be working with him for such a great cause. The Light of Life Rescue Mission helps disadvantaged people in the community they are located in.
This mission that Ben Roethlisberger and MIchah Tyler are partnering together for, is a black and gold DIFFERENT mission. It sponsors the Light of Life Rescue Mission in Pittsburgh. Ben’s family will match donations that help to supply free meals. There are tee shirts for sale and the proceeds go to the mission.
Ben Roethlisberger says that he and Michah come from two different worlds, and he is happy to be a part of celebrating those differences and coming together to support his city. He said that they are working together to bring a little hope to the people of the city he loves. 100% of the money from the sale of every tee shirt goes to Light of Life Rescue Mission.
Light of Life provides a link to purchase the tee shirts and they can be found at the mission. In addition, MIchah will have them available at the Mercy Me concerts he opens for. They convey their gratitude and excitement for this venture and cannot be happier to have these two different walks of life come together to help support the local community and those in need. The mission’s Rev. Jerald T. Gilliam says “Our doors are open to those in need”.
