Ben Roethlisberger: Life After Football

Ben Roethlisberger was an athlete from an early age. In high school, he played three sports and was the team captain for all of them. Roethlisberger set state records for yards thrown and touchdown passes during his senior year.

After high school, Roethlisberger was accepted to Miami of Ohio. He was the starting quarterback for three years and shattered several of the school’s records. In 2004, he was a first-round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Roethlisberger spent his entire career with the Steelers. He played in 216 games, threw for 363 touchdown passes, and Ben Roethlisberger led the Steelers to two Superbowl wins. Roethlisberger retired from the game in 2022.

Roethlisberger is grateful for his success and those who helped him throughout his football career. However, he wants to be known for being more than a great quarterback. He also hopes people think of him as a good family man. Roethlisberger states his main focus is and always has been God and his family.

Now that Ben Roethlisberger has retired from football, he spends more time with his family and focuses on his family’s foundation and other charities. He and his wife, Ashely, support a company called NeoLight.

NeoLight is a company that provides phototherapy lights to clinics and hospitals. The hospital gives parents of babies with jaundice the lights on loan. Parents can then treat their babies at home instead of staying in the hospital for treatment.

he is also the founder of the Roethlisberger Family Foundation. The entire family runs the foundation, including the kids and Roethlisberger’s parents. The focus of the foundation is family. He bought a farm close to his home and made it into a retreat. The retreat is for fathers and sons to connect while enjoying outdoor activities. Roethlisberger lives down the street, so he does not have to travel away from his family. Like this page on Facebook, for more information.
